No death so sad |
The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a nationwide organisation of bereaved parents and their families offering understanding, support and encouragement after the death of a child or children. We recognise, however, that there is no easy path through the pain of grief. |

The
death of a child No parent expects to attend their child's funeral. However, every year thousands of newly bereaved parents struggle to cope with the loss of their son or daughter. They now face a future in which their family life has been changed forever. Our help is offered to all parents whose son or daughter has died at any age and from any cause, including accident, illness, murder or suicide. Befrienders, members of TCF, listen and share with the bereaved, providing a safe situation where they can feel free to weep and where their stories can be told, over and over again to a compassionate friend. |
