Clacton Mid-Week Darts League, formed in 1976 is the premier mixed league on the Tendring Peninsula of the Essex coast. Our
members include numerous county players both at senior and junior levels, male and female alike, and a lady player selected for the England team in the last year. ~ Playing from some of the area's most noted and hospitable pubs and clubs, our inter-team matches take place on Thursday evenings throughout the year ... although time off is allowed for Christmas & New Year!! ~ The League's nominated charity for 2008-09 charity is Macmillan Cancer Support. Several teams and individual players generously donate the cost of trophies they have won to charities including Essex Air Ambulance, The Heart of Darts and other worthwhile causes.
The league has
31 teams playing from 16 venues in the Winter 2008-09 season,
with over
300 players registered to date.
