Parkinson's results from the loss of the chemical messenger Dopamine within the centre of the movement in the mid-brain, affecting walking, talking, writing and swallowing.
There are more than 120,000 sufferers in the U.K.
We have a very flourishing Branch with 160 members.
We employ two Welfare Visitors who are in contact with all the members to give them support and assistance in any way possible.
We organize outings and fund raising events
Meetings every THIRD Wednesday in the month at 7.15 pm in
