Rotary Club of Clacton-on-Sea

    VOCATIONAL SERVICE

One of the unique aspects of Rotary is the composition of it's membership.  As many different types of vocation are sought as we aim to use these skills in support of our Community.

We have given support and encouragement to local schools through mock job interviews and other assistance when requested.  The skills and experience we acquire in our working lives we give back in service through our club.

We also visit businesses to gain information on how commerce and industry works.  Several Rotarians recently visited the Ardo complex in Kent.   This company provides frozen food and vegetables on a large scale.  We were very well received and it proved a very interesting visit with the friendly staff answering many questions.

Some of our members will be undertaking a First Aid Course run by the Red Cross to obtain a certificate in basic first aid.

Rotarians are proud to represent Rotary in their work and their work in Rotary.
